| After Senn, I graduated from the University of Illinois. During the time I was at Champaign, I met Gloria Mass, who is my wife of 43 years.
In 1968, we moved to Southern California where Gloria taught school and I owned a dry-cleaning business. We have one son, Merrill, who lives in Fishers, Indiana with his wife, Rose Ann, and our two grandsons, Caleb and Elias. During 1993 we retired and moved to Scottsdale. Here, I spend my time visiting our son and family, eating right, exercising, playing tennis, and working on my old cars. I have a 1929 Pierce Arrow and a 1956 Pontiac Star Chief four-door hardtop. One great thing about Senn High has been meeting Mike Taradash and Buddy Kahn. We still get together when possible and talk about the "good old days" and the "good new days". |
